Regency!?

Genre: BBC Drama, Aesthetic: Regency, Themes: Overcoming incompetence, Strange Factor: Everyone has a niche, highly specific weakness.

After a streak of bad luck, you have received a letter from your mysterious and previously unknown Aunt Josephine informing you of her passing and your position as her closest living relative. Her assets, including the castle in Wisteria, the vineyards, gardens, etc., are all to become yours. She asks that you not sell everything and aim for higher as the regent of the land and build back your family's legacy in a way she could not. Of course, as a down-on-their-luck civilian, this is terrific news. But there are a great many people who would love to see you fail in this game of politics, romance, and treachery.

Enclosed is a ttrpg proposal from the Lair of the Storyseller, a monthly challenge in the Diceaholics Discord server where the community develops a new setting every month.

Inside, you will be provided with a narrative hook, three NPCs, three quests, and considerations for running this game as a tabletop RPG setting. None of these supplements are designed with a specific system in mind, but they all hope to inspire!
